A Chubbuck man already facing charges for a fatal DUI crash that killed 29-year-old Lena Phelps of Pocatello last month is now facing additional felonies related to drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession.

Police said the man was westbound on Constitution Avenue when he crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a Nissan Versa, sending 2 people to the hospital for weeks.

Police have charged the driver of the vehicle, Randall Miller, 29, with felony DUI resulting in death, felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury, and open container. Miller allegedly was driving impaired, ran a stop light and struck the two pedestrians in the crosswalk.
