This simulation shows a zero-crossing detector that simply marks the exact moments when an analog signal passes through 0 V. The green waveform represents the input signal, which can be periodic like a sine wave or completely aperiodic. The circuit does not transform or reshape the signal. Instead, two comparators continuously monitor the signal’s polarity and switch state the instant the voltage changes sign.
