We visited one of the most beautiful caves in Sedona and it was absolutely magical. 📍Subway Cave via Boynton Canyon Trail 🥾6 miles roundtrip - you start at the parking lot for Boynton Canyon Trail. The trail can actually be a little tricky so map it out before you go. Our friend @where.is.ajax had it locked into GPS on his watch which was genius. 🪨The trail itself is pretty easy until you get to the actual cave. You do have to climb into the cave and it can be challenging. 📜 Once you explore

One of Sedona’s coolest spots amongst the red rock- Subway Cave ✨ An easy-moderate hike through Boynton Canyon that leads to this tucked away cave. When you get to the cave, you can scramble up the middle or go to the left and climb up the rocks. We highly recommend going to the left!! Arrive EARLY to avoid the crowds and for easier parking. We got there at sunrise at the parking lot was already full. Plan for about 3–4 hours round trip. A must do! Save this if Sedona is on your list 🤍 #sedona

What not to miss on the Boynton Canyon trail in Sedona, Arizona? The Subway Cave—a beautiful and nearly symmetric red-rock open cave tunnel carved high into sandstone, set against a backdrop of green-flecked canyon walls. And I missed it😔 Missing it was an accident. Immediately below the cave site, a friend and I chose to scramble up a less crowded path on the left when we should have taken the busier one on the right. The route on the left took us to some very cool caves—remnants of the ancien
